To type directly with the computer keyboard:

• Add the sign # to type a small kana; example: tsu#

Note

The characters ゐ (wi) and ゑ (we) are obsoletes.

How to type with this Online Hiragana Japanese Keyboard

Using the online Hiragana Japanese keyboard above, simply click on the letters, alphabets or symbols to enter them into the text box. After that you can click the Copy button or press Ctrl+C to copy. Or use the Save button to save the typed characters as a text file.

To directly type these alphabets in the above text box with your computer keyboard, obey the following instructions.

• This Online keyboard above has some characters attached to some of the Hiragana Japanese character keys. 
• In the text box, simply type these characters that are indicated on top of the keys to get the corresponding Hiragana Japanese alphabet, letter or symbol.
• Type the # sign to make a small kana; for example, tsu# will make you っ.

Once you are done typing your desired Hiragana Japanese letters, either use Ctrl+C to copy or use the copy or save buttons to copy or save the typed characters respectively.
